SHOPPING EXTRAVAGANZA – Splurge or Save Fort Lauderdale Style!

Get ready. Get Set. Shop! Tranquilo Hotel is minutes from Galleria Mall and is a perfect launching point for your very own shopping extravaganza! Take an Uber, taxi, or enjoy a scenic walk to the Galleria right from your front door. Galleria is built upon some of the most well-known luxury goods retailers, including but not limited to, Mayors, Neiman Marcus, and Williams-Sonoma.

Of course, if you need groceries for snacks or you’re preparing a meal in your room at the Tranquilo Hotel, you’ll want to go across the street from the Galleria (Sunrise Boulevard), to the fully stocked Publix Supermarket. However, if you’re in need of some snacks or sunscreen, look no further than the Village Market on Breakers rd (two-blocks Southeast).

A little further away from North Beach Hotel , is Sawgrass Mills where you can get name-brand clothing heavily discounted at more than 400 retailers and other popular outlets! You can spend days here, and it’s been noted that more people travel to Sawgrass, both locally and around the world than go to Disney World! There’s also a lot for kids to do there: video games, movies and much more! Fortunately, transportation to this giant alligator-shaped building can be found by taking local shuttle buses or going on advertised shopping tours.

Greater Fort Lauderdale has many places to shop, you’ll want to plan and pace yourself! On one hand, if you want to hunt for local bargains, visit the sprawling Swap Shop Flea Market. Yet, if you and your family are desiring quintessential Fort Lauderdale ambiance, sea breezes and swanky galleries and boutiques, Las Olas Boulevard is the superlative shopping area to visit.
